London-based distributor Serious Lunch has inked four new broadcast deals for preschool comedy Bo & To’s Family.

Sky Kids (UK), Amazon Kids Plus (Germany), NHK (Japan) and Tencent (China) have all picked up the 54 x five-minute stop-motion series for their regions.

Produced by Korea’s Comma Studios, the non-dialogue slapstick show focuses on three rescue cats who hang out in a café and have unusual adventures together. A second season of 26 x five-minute episodes is currently in production, and Serious Lunch is handling worldwide distribution everywhere except Asia, which is managed by Comma Studios.

Korean broadcasters KBS and SK Broadband were the first channels to pick up Bo & To’s Family, which premiered on KBS in 2018 and then went to Disney Korea a year later. Other buyers that have followed suit include Canal Once (Mexico), Czech TV and Hop TV (Israel), as well as AVODs Kidoodle.TV and Tubi.
