Sinking Ship Entertainment and Scott Brothers Entertainment have appointed Nelvana as the distributor and global merchandise agent for their new show, Builder Brothers’ Dream Factory.

Targeting four- to seven-year-olds, the 20 x 22-minute series is Scott Brothers’ first kids TV project, and also Sinking Ship’s first fully 3D-animated production. It stars eight-year-old versions of home-building celebs Drew and Jonathan Scott as they solve problems around their neighborhood.

Sinking Ship’s Carla de Jong and Scott Brothers’ Amory Millard are executive producing Builder Brothers’ Dream Factory, which is set to premiere in Canada next year on Corus Entertainment’s Treehouse channel.

When the series was first announced in January, it was aimed at preschoolers with 10-year-old versions of the twins rendered in 2D—though Sinking Ship co-founder J.J. Johnson told Kidscreen at the time that the animation style hadn’t been finalized.

This project joins an already busy slate of new shows at Sinking Ship, which is also co-developing live-action teen series Dance Spies and working with Apple TV+ on live-action/CG kids series Jane, inspired by Dr. Jane Goodall’s life.
