The Vancouver-based prodco (My Singing Monsters Fandemonium) has teamed up with Canada’s Shaw Rocket Fund to create more content for its educational YouTube series Camp Bonkers (50 x 30 minutes).
The live-action series is released on a weekly basis, and features hosts as they guide kids through different camp-like activities. Originally launched last summer to fill a gap when in-person summer camps for kids were cancelled, Wind Sun Sky will use the Shaw Rocket funding to produce new episodes for YouTube to premiere in July, as well as a web app and a Roblox game.

The Chinese media giant has appointed France’s Superights as the global distributor for its upcoming slapstick comedy The Adventures of Little Penguin (pictured). The 52 x five-minute non-dialogue show stars a young penguin who explores his island and makes new friends. This isn’t the first time the two companies have partnered on a project: Tencent previously tapped Superights to distribute Osmond (52 x 13 minutes), which is currently in development.
