Bristol-based animation house Wildseed Studios has tapped Azoomee alum Elena Wurlitzer to manage and grow its kids development slate.

She will drive the studio’s current series The Last Bus (for Netflix) and Dodo (for UK broadcaster Sky)—both of which are in production now—as well as development projects that include some work with VIS Kids.

Wurlitzer, who was most recently in a senior creative role at kids SVOD Azoomee, started with Wildseed in May. She previously consulted for Wildseed, along with other clients such as BBC and Liberty Films. She has also worked as a scriptwriter on WildBrain’s Strawberry Shortcake and Rev & Rumble and Disney Junior/CBeebies’ Kate & Mim-Mim.
