Warner Bros. Games has teamed up with LA-based developer Player First Games to launch MultiVersus, a new platform fighter title that combines several of WarnerMedia’s biggest franchises in one multiplayer gaming experience.

Launching globally next year on PlayStation/Xbox consoles and PCs, the free-to-play game features a two-versus-two format and puts a big emphasis on social interaction and strategy.

Its marquee characters include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn (DC Super Heroes & DC Super-Villains); Shaggy (Scooby-Doo); Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes); Arya Stark (Game of Thrones); Tom and Jerry (Tom and Jerry); Jake the Dog and Finn the Human (Adventure Time); and Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe).

MultiVersus also features a brand-new original creature called Reindog, and will reimagine environments from the various franchises, including Batman’s Batcave and Jake and Finn’s Tree Fort.

The title will hit the market on the heels of fighting crossover game Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, which pits iconic Nick characters against each other.
