Hasbro has partnered with New York-based toymaker Creative Kids to produce a new range of Play-Doh compound products that will start to hit shelves in spring 2022.
Part of a multi-year, multi-national licensing agreement between the two companies, the line will include textures like modeling clay and air clay, with prices ranging from US$1 to US$29.99.
This partnership builds on a Play-Doh brand expansion that saw Hasbro launch several new textures in 2019, including Slime, Super Cloud and Krackle. The toyco also introduced a new scented Play-Doh line in 2020, as well as moving the popular brand into the construction category with a Play-Doh Builder range that lets kids use the classic compound to create playsets. Each kit includes Play-Doh, tools to construct the playsets, decorations and plastic figures.
For its part, Creative Kids previously inked a licensing deal with YouTuber Blippi to launch crafts and activity sets.
