Boat Rocker makes key franchise & licensing hires

With Dino Ranch consumer products about to stampede globally, the Toronto-based media company is bringing in some experienced hands to help support the growing program.

Emmanuelle Cadet (pictured left) and EJ Minor (pictured right) are joining Boat Rocker Media as it expands into new territories.

In his newly created role as brand director, Minor is heading up franchise management and retail & brand marketing in the Americas. He’s based in the company’s New York office, and reports directly to EVP of brand management and content marketing Kate Schlomann. Minor started in December, coming off a stint at WildBrain as a brand marketing and strategy consultant.

Meanwhile, Cadet is replacing Caroline High this month as licensing director for the UK, Australia and EMEA, and will report to VP of brand management & licensing Nicola Herrmann. She previously worked for Flair GP as head of marketing, and was a senior licensing manager at Disney before that.

These new hires will support a range of new products inspired by Boat Rocker’s Dino Ranch that are set to roll out across the UK and Europe this summer. A toy line based on its animated preschool series  launched at the end of last year in the US and Australia.
