I am thrilled to announce that Katie Bailey has joined us to head up content for Kidscreen as our new content director and editor. She starts today, and replaces Megan Haynes in the role.

Katie previously spent six years as a content director and editor at Playback, Kidscreen’s sister brand that focuses on the Canadian film and television industry. More recently, she has been working in communications at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM)—but she has missed business journalism and is excited to get back to covering the entertainment sector again, this time with a wider international lens and a focus on the kids industry.

I could not be happier about bringing such an experienced and professional editor back to the company. I know that Kidscreen’s community will be well served with Katie at the helm of our content and publishing endeavors.
