French distributor APC Kids is making the most of MIPTV, closing several new deals along the Croisette.
The children’s division of APC Studios has just announced its first global sales for Go Green with the Grimwades and Zoe & Milo, which will be screened at the market later this week.
A 30 x 10-minute live-actioner, Go Green with the Grimwades has been picked up by kids SVOD platform Azoomee for Central and Eastern Europe, Asia and MENA. It centers around the efforts of a large family (six kids!) to be kinder to the environment by embracing the five Rs: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair and Recycle. The series will also air in Canada on regional pubcaster TVO, which has acquired seasons one and two.
Azoomee also bought the first two seasons of 52 x seven-minute series Zoe and Milo (pictured) for the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa. This 2D-animated show is aimed at kids ages six to nine, and follows two BFFs who travel the world exploring new cultures and customs in a plane built and piloted by their hamster friend.
Telecommunications company PCCW has also picked up free-TV and streaming rights for season one of Zoe and Milo, which it will roll out across Hong Kong and Macau.
