Paramount+ Latin America’s kids content lineup is expanding with the recent acquisition of preschool adventure series Tainá and the Amazon’s Guardians from French distributor Dandelooo.
Based on a Brazilian feature film trilogy of the same name, the 26 x 11-minute CG-animated series focuses on Tainá and her friends as they try to protect the rainforest’s astonishing fauna and wildlife from danger.
Targeting two- to five-year-olds, Tainá and the Amazon’s Guardians aims to teach children about the Amazon rainforest and also how to care for nature and respect the cultural differences between people.
Created by Pedro Carlos Rovai and Virginia Limberger, Tainá and the Amazon’s Guardians is produced in domestically by Sincrocine, Hype Animation and Nick Jr. Brazil. The series is also sponsored by film distributor RioFilme and supported by television network Band TV and the Brazilian development bank (BNDES).
