Streaming service Kidoodle.TV has received an equity investment from Canada’s TriWest Capital Partners, bringing the total value of its fundraising efforts to US$62 million.

The deal values the company, owned by Canada’s A Parent Media Co. (APMC), at US$465 million and brings TriWest managing director Jon Spencer onto its board of directors. The deal was first reported in Variety.

Available in more than 160 global markets, Kidoodle.TV targets kids ages 12 and under with a curated content platform offered in three tiers: non-registered AVOD, registered AVOD and SVOD. It emphasizes safe content, healthy screen habits and age-appropriate shows and advertising.

Content offerings on the platform include popular franchises such as Paw Patrol, LEGO, Peppa Pig, Mr. Bean and Winx Club. Earlier this year, the streamer launched an ad-free content subscription service accessible via the interactive toy robot Miko 3.
