YouTube has ordered a new cooking competition show for kids ages six to 12 called The Big Tiny Food Face-Off from Sony Pictures Television’s B17 Entertainment.
The six x 20-minute series jumps on the trend of making and eating really small pieces of food, like tiny cinnamon rolls or sandwiches. In each episode, three tween/teen contestants compete to win and take home a trophy, with chef influencer Inga Lam and YouTuber Matt Stonie hosting and judging the wee dishes they whip up.
A premiere episode will be available July 15 on popular foodie YouTube channel Tasty (20.9 million subscribers) and the YouTube Kids app. And new eps will drop weekly on Fridays after that. The Big Tiny Food Face-Off joins Charli’s Crafty Kitchen (1.29 million subscribers) in YouTube’s cooking content lineup.
