Dr. Seuss Enterprises has no shortage of buns in the oven lately, and today’s announcement is all about a greenlight for a new cooking competition series with a branded twist.

Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge is set to premiere on Amazon’s streaming service Prime Video this winter in more than 240 countries and territories.

The competition series is a co-pro between Amazon Studios, Dr. Seuss Enterprises and LA’s Super Delicious, and Ruth Amsel (Ridiculous Cakes) is on board as showrunner and executive producer.

Contestants face the task of successfully baking yummy delicacies and also finding creative ways to give them Seussian flare. Each episode will feature a challenge based on a different character or story from the Dr. Seuss archive, ranging from The Grinch to The Cat in the Hat.

Actor Tamera Mowry-Housley (Sister, Sister) will serve as the show’s host, and pastry chefs Clarice Lam and Joshua John Russell have been tapped as judges. Susan Brandt, president and CEO of Dr. Seuss Enterprises, is also executive producing, alongside Cara Tapper, Adam Cohen and Joanna Vernetti from Super Delicious.

In addition to Baking Challenge, Dr. Seuss Enterprises is currently prepping five animated preschool projects for Netflix, a deal it announced in March. And on the consumer products side of its business, the company recently announced the upcoming launch of Dr. Seuss-based pinball tables as part of a new collaboration with LA-based video game company AtGames.
