Global head of sales Sophie “Kido” Prigent is exiting Jetpack Distribution after four years, creating an opening that the London-based company is actively looking to fill.

Prigent says she has another job lined up, but won’t be able to share details until she officially starts in the role. She joined Jetpack in 2019 as a sales director and worked her way up to global head of sales, which saw her overseeing sales and working with the acquisitions team on discovering new content to pad the library. Prior to joining Jetpack, Pigent worked in sales at Canada’s WildBrain and Cookie Jar Entertainment.

“We wish Kido all the best with her next venture,” says Jetpack founder and CEO Dominic Gardiner. “We are actively seeking a dynamic new head of sales to lead the Jetpack team and drive new content deals across the kids universe.”

Jetpack has a large catalogue of live-action and animated kids programming that ranges from preschool edutainment to family-friendly features. Some of the shows it distributes include Beano’s Dennis & Gnasher Unleashed!, Jam Media’s Becca’s Bunch and Coolabi’s Clangers. In December, the company brokered broadcast deals with Cartoon Network in India and Disney Japan for some of its animated titles.

Jetpack expanded in November with the launch of a new suite of L&M consultancy services, hiring former Hasbro exec Stephen Toye Green to help its producer clients develop consumer products strategies and offer early brand-building insights.
