London-based Two Daughters Entertainment has hired former Hasbro exec Finn Arnesen as its first-ever COO.

Based in London, Arnesen started in his new post last month, and is responsible for creative/commercial strategy, driving revenue growth and original IP oversight. He reports to CEO and founder James Reatchlous, who set up Two Daughters last year to manage and expand on the success of his CG-animated series Moley.

The 52 x 11-minute show digs into the story of a mole who lives under Windsor Castle in England. To date, it has launched in more than 140 countries on broadcasters including Germany’s ZDF, Globo in Brazil and New Zealand’s TVNZ.

Three new CG-animated series projects are currently in development at Two Daughters, and will be presented at market next year.

This hire may signal a strategic expansion at Two Daughters, as Arnesen brings an impressive mix of game, sales and creative experience honed at several major companies he has worked for in the past.

Arnesen was head of entertainment development at Games Workshop in the UK from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, he spent a decade at US toyco Hasbro’s studio arm as SVP of international distribution and development, where he oversaw the expansion of popular IPs like My Little Pony and Transformers. Arnesen moved to Hasbro from WarnerMedia, where he was GM of original series and international development for Cartoon Network for 16 years. In his tenure there, he helped launch series like 2D-animated comedy The Amazing World of Gumball and mixed-media game show Skatoony.
