Moggozi

Bejuba! has acquired global distribution rights outside of Asia to South Korean prodco Moggozi’s CG-animated series Little Dreamer-GGUDA, and the two companies will work together on an English/Western adaptation. Aimed at preschoolers, the series (52 x 11 minutes) is about five kids who use their imaginations to become spaceship captains, nature detectives and doctors, solving problems and helping friends on the small island where they live. A first season premiered last year on KBS in South Korea, and season two launches this week.

Cyber Group Studios

The Paris-based producer/distributor has signed a major deal to sell Splash Entertainment’s entire catalogue, which encompasses more than 500 hours of children’s programming. Highlights from the library include series such as Chloe’s Closet, Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch and Norm of the North, as well as preschool series Family Rocks—the debut project of CyberSplash, a Paris-based prodco established by Genius and Splash last year.

Radar Pictures

The LA prodco is developing a CG-animated Geronimo Stilton movie after acquiring film rights to the book-based IP from Milan’s Atlantyca Entertainment. Filmmaker David Soren (Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie) will write and direct the pic. Italian author Elisabetta Dami created the popular mouse character in 1997 for her book series that has sold more than 180 million copies worldwide.
