The BBC has commissioned its in-house BBC Studios Entertainment and BBC Music divisions to produce a 120-minute live gaming show for kids, tweens and teens that taps into the popularity of eSports.

Game to Give (working title) will be filmed live at the Confetti X eSport arena in Nottingham on November 10, airing in real time on BBC iPlayer and linear via BBC Three. During the broadcast, teams of celebrities, content creators and gamers will face off against one another in three different simulation-style games, including EA Sports racer F1 23, and Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2023

The goal of the special is to raise funds for the BBC’s Children in Need charity, which funds grassroots organizations and project workers providing support to UK kids. Viewers will be able to donate to the charity via text during the broadcast.
