The prodco is also developing an original series called Young Achievers with Sony Pictures Networks India.

Singapore’s Powerkids Entertainment is producing and distributing a new CG-animated Martin Mystère series (pictured, 26 x 22 minutes), based on the same-name comic books created by Alfredo Castelli in the ’80s.

This marks the mystery-solving franchise’s second TV adaptation, following a 2D-animated series from Marathon Media (now Zodiak Kids & Family) and Image Entertainment Corporation that debuted on YTV in 2003 and ran for three seasons.

For the reboot, Powerkids has partnered with Italy’s Bonelli Entertainment—the production arm of Sergio Bonelli Editore, which publishes the Martin Mystère comics.

Martin is an adventurer who uses his deep knowledge of history, archeology and the supernatural to crack cases. Slated for a late 2025 release, the new series is looking to age down and hit the six to 11 demo with a more kid-friendly, CG-animated style than the anime-inspired look of the first toon.

It’s been a busy week at MIPCOM for Powerkids, which also announced a deal with Sony Pictures Networks India to co-develop and co-produce a CG original series called Young Achievers

Targeting ages six and up, the 52 x 11-minute project is about a group of kids handpicked from around the world to take down a tech-savvy villain one action-packed mission at a time. Each achiever has a unique skill set, ranging from underwater exploration to martial arts.
