Spain’s DeAPlaneta Entertainment has hired veteran marketing exec Estíbaliz González as the first-ever head of franchises and marketing for its kids & family division.
González started in her new role last month and is focused on developing global marketing campaigns and strategies for all of DeAPlaneta’s kids brands, starting with 2D-animated preschool toon Milo (52 x 11 minutes), action-adventure series Monster Shaker (52 x 11 minutes) and CG-animated action-comedy Hero Inside (20 x 13 minutes).
Prior to joining DeAPlaneta, González worked for four years at Spanish toyco Bizak, where she oversaw licensed product lines. And she spent a year as a marketing brand lead at fast-food chain McDonald’s in 2018, with a focus on Happy Meals, promotions and market research in Spain.
