ABC Commercial has inked a pair of new TV sales for Aussie live-action puppet series Beep and Mort (40 x 15 minutes)

After featuring the preschool show in the launch lineup for its new ad-free linear children’s channel in February 2023, UK broadcaster Sky Kids has come back for season two (20 x 15 minutes).

And beIN Media Group in Qatar has acquired both seasons for launch in the Middle East and North Africa sometime this year. Beep and Mort will be available there in English and Arabic on linear and on-demand services.

Produced by Adelaide-based Windmill Pictures, Beep and Mort focuses on the friendship between a robot from outer space and a cuddly critter from Earth. Australian pubcaster ABC Kids premiered the show in October 2022 and started running season two this past November. It has been nominated for a 2024 Kidscreen Award in the Best Live-Action Series (Preschool) category.

ABC Commercial previously sold Beep and Mort to WildBrain Television in Canada, where season one premiered on Family Jr in September 2023. Season two will follow this spring.
