Hyeo Jin Moon (pictured) has joined French producer/distributor Dandelooo as an international sales and acquisitions manager.

Moon will oversee global distribution in LatAm, Asia and Spain. She started today, and reports to head of international Emmanuèle Petry.

Based in Paris, Moon had been working for French webtoon platform Delitoon for 18 months. As head of its marketing and editorial team, her remit covered sales, rights management and partnership development. 

Before that, she spent two years as deputy director of the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), an organization that promotes and supports the growth of Korea’s content industry. 

Moon replaces Melissa Vega, who left Dandelooo last month after 10 years with the company. She joined Parisian studio Folivari, where she is busy setting up a new distribution division.

Over the past year, Dandelooo has sold shows to international buyers such as Youku (China) and RTP (Portugal), as well as picking up distribution rights to series and specials including Xbo Films’ Marcel, Father Christmas and The Super Heroes of Nature from Moonworks Productions and Amopix Studios.
