IMC Toys

Moonbug Entertainment has signed a deal to manage several of the Spanish toyco’s YouTube channels, including ones that feature its flagship preschool doll brand Cry Babies. Moonbug will leverage its expertise on the platform to market and enhance the online presence of the toy line and provide new insights to IMC’s YouTube team. Popular episodes from the toyco’s CG-animated series Cry Babies Magic Tears (105 x five minutes, pictured), BFF Cry Babies (26 x seven minutes) and VIP Pets (48 x seven minutes) will also start streaming on Moonbug’s YouTube channels.

Jetpack Distribution

The London-based company has picked up rights to distribute Particle6 Production’s Look See Wow! globally outside of the UK. Featuring ASMR elements (sounds and images that elicit tingling and calming sensations), this live-action series (26 x five minutes) for preschoolers debuted on Sky Kids last June and layers sensory experiences into exploring toddler interests such as boats and buildings.

Magic Frame Animation and Creation Entertainment

Based in the UK, the film studios have tapped a pair of new distributors to represent their CG-animated feature Rebellious (90 minutes). Dazzler Media will handle sales in the UK and Ireland, where a premiere date is in the works. And Dubai’s The Plot Pictures will sell the film in MENA and Turkey. Centering around a brave princess who is kidnapped and must use her wits and courage to plan an escape, Rebellious was screened at European Film Market last week. And a teaser is available online.

Monster Entertainment

The Irish distributor has added 25.27 Estudios Audiovisual’s Tales of Terror for Franco (10 x 13 minutes) to its global sales portfolio. Argentina’s public broadcaster Pakapaka commissioned the 2D-animated series for six- to 12-year-olds and launched it domestically last September. The story arc revolves around a group of kids who get sucked into a world of nightmares and must lean on each other and overcome their fears in order to defeat monsters and return to their world. Tales of Terror for Franco is based on an Argentinian book series published by Ediciones De La Paz and Penguin Random House.
