Banijay taps three new licensing agents to rep Totally Spies!

The companies will develop consumer products programs based on the animated series reboot in Brazil, Benelux and the Nordics.

Banijay Kids & Family has appointed three new licensing agents to build consumer products programs for its revived Totally Spies! kids series.

License Connection (Benelux), Lotus Global Marketing (Brazil) and LIT Licensing Agency (the Nordics) will represent the brand regionally and sign deals with new licensees in their respective regions. The initial strategy is to cater to the rebooted crime-fighting series’ six- to nine-year-old target demo, as well as adult fans of the original toon from the ’00s. 

These new agents join the likes of Bulldog Licensing, which started courting licensees in the UK for Banijay’s flagship kids franchise last year. And prior to that, Banijay itself inked a few Totally Spies! licensing deals with French partners including Bayard (magazines and children’s books), Microids (video games) and Editions Dupuis (webtoons).

A seventh season of Totally Spies! will premiere later this year on French broadcaster Gulli, Discovery Kids Latin America, Cartoon Network in the US and WBD’s Max streamer across EMEA.
