Licensing director Capucine Humblot has left French studio Xilam Animation, which has promoted artwork approval manager Chloé Menier (pictured) into a newly minted brand manager position in order to shore up leadership for this part of its team.
Humblot announced her departure last Friday on LinkedIn. She had been with Xilam for five years, joining in 2019 from board game manufacturer Asmodee, and previously serving in licensing, marketing and product development roles at Mattel, TF1 and Canal Toys.
Menier joined Xilam in September 2023 and has been working with the studio’s licensees on artwork and product approvals. She’ll continue to do this work post-promotion, but her new duties include handling brand development for all of Xilam’s animated IPs, including Oggy Oggy, Zig & Sharko, Lupin’s Tales and Oggy & the Cockroaches. She’s also the main contact for the licensing team now, and reports to distribution EVP Safaa Benazzouz.
Prior to Xilam, Menier worked as a graphic designer and product developer at textiles manufacturer CTI, and as a graphic designer for software developer Salsify EMEA (formerly Alkemics).
