- Warner Bros. Pictures has acquired the film rights to Shannon Messenger’s Keeper of the Lost Cities publishing franchise, which has sold seven million copies of nine books worldwide to date. A 10th book titled Unraveled is due out in November, extending the story about a telepathic girl on a quest to find out why she is the conduit to a parallel universe before evil forces crack the mystery first and achieve double-world domination. Emma Watts (Maze Runner, The Kingsman) has been tapped to produce, and Messenger will be involved as an EP.
