BBC Studios is expanding Bluey’s global licensing program in a big way, signing new deals with more than 40 partners around the world, and renewing key US/Canada partnerships with Spin Master, Horizon Group and Jay Franco. TOMY International will also expand its Bluey line with a pop-up game for global distribution outside of Asia.
New partners that will introduce Bluey products across North America in 2024 and 2025 include Creative Kids (reusable dough and activity sets), KidsEmbrace (travel car seats and push stroller trikes), Mushie (silicone infant/toddler feeding and silicone bath toys), Phidal (novelty books), PI Kids (sound books), Simple Modern (co-branded hydration, backpacks, and lunch kits) and TCG Toys (playmats and puzzles).
The brand’s LatAm partner roster welcomes Impulsora Arra (footwear for Mexico), 2A1 (mall events for Brazil), Aldea Logistica (health and beauty products for Peru, Chile, Colombia, Central America and the Caribbean) and Intek (backpacks and accessories for Chile).
In the UK, new deals have been struck with Jazwares (Squishmallows HugMees for the UK), MH Leisure (pay-to-play rides for the UK) and RMS (arts & crafts for the UK and Ireland). And HTI Toys is adding outdoor toys to its existing Bluey range.
Elsewhere in Europe, Character Options has signed a new deal to distribute Basic Fun’s Bluey Mash’ems in the UK and the Nordic territories, while Jazwares has been tapped to distribute a new wooden toy range from 8th Wonder in key EMEA markets.
New softline partners for the UK and EMEA include Paladone (lighting and gifts) and Source by Net for furniture products that will hit retail outlets in 2025. Plus Mango Kids stores worldwide will feature children’s apparel from Padma Textiles.
Other new partners for EMEA include Ara Creative (drawing kits for France), JB Licenses (children’s apparel & accessories for Italy) and Lemon Iberia (meet-and-greets in Portugal).
And down under, new partners in Australia and New Zealand include Adairs (homewares), CottonOn Kids (sleepwear) and Hinkler (publishing/arts & crafts).
