- US streamer and studio FilmRise has expanded CFO Johnny Holden‘s (pictured right) role with new responsibilities as chief strategy officer. He will work closely with CEO Danny Fisher to strengthen the company’s presence in the streaming market, as well as continuing to oversee its financial operations, which he has done since joining in 2020. Earlier this month, FilmRise also promoted global content acquisitions VP Jonitha Keymoore to head of content.
- Toronto’s Kids Can Press has appointed Naseem Hrab (pictured left) to oversee the entire business as publisher. Hrab was previously a Canadian Children’s Book Centre librarian and has also authored kids books such as the Ira Crumb series and Weekend Dad. She’s been working at KCP for 15 years, most recently as an associate publisher of creative.
