XTracks builds a new licensing summit with UTA and GennComm

Former Global Licensing Group brand director Steven Ekstract is the architect behind this one-day program running at the same time as the Toy Association's LA Fall Preview.

Steven Ekstract’s Entertainment XTracks shingle has partnered with United Talent Agency (UTA) and GennComm to launch a new full-day licensing event taking place at UTA’s Beverly Hills headquarters in LA on September 12. 

Designed for senior execs working in licensing, retail, manufacturing and media—and limited to just 100 attendees—the Future of Licensing Executive Summit coincides with the Toy Association’s LA Fall Toy Preview event (September 9 to 13). 

Two of the keynotes headlining the Summit will focus on how to integrate AI in the consumer products industry. Kicking off the event is an AI Takes Center Stage presentation of new research from UTA’s IQ division exploring the technology’s potential impact on the licensing industry, and how companies can navigate its legal implications. And then Trend Hunter sales VP Mark Onufer will follow up with his Unleashing the Power of AI deep-dive into the best AI tools in the business today for product development, trend-tracking and social listening. 

The Summit will also host several 30-minute presentations covering a wide range of hot industry topics ranging from sports and food licensing, to new retail innovations on Roblox and TikTok Shops. And there will be networking opportunities throughout the day, including an on-site cocktail reception to wrap up the event.
