LA-based Titmouse Animation has partnered up with Japanese studio Polygon Pictures to co-develop and co-produce a slate of CG-animated projects, some of which will target kids.
The deal is non-exclusive, and the companies are planning to pull back the curtain and share details about their upcoming work together later this year.
This partnership is Titmouse’s first foray into CG, but Polygon has developed considerable expertise in the animation style working on series such as Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Cartoon Network), Big Hero 6: The Series (Disney Channel) and Stillwater (Apple TV+). It’s also gearing up to deliver MCU toon Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man to Disney+.
For its part, Titmouse is bringing a strong track record for unique and offbeat storytelling to the collaboration. Though its best known for adult toons, the animation house has produced and serviced kids shows including Pupstruction (Disney Junior), My Dad the Bounty Hunter (Netflix) and Angry Birds Mystery Island (pictured, Prime Video).
