- London’s Moonbug Entertainment has promoted former Blippi GM Katelynn Heil into a newly created role as head of brand marketing and franchise strategy. Director of originals Mike Katzman, who has been the interim Blippi GM since the start of the year, will now take the position on permanently. Moonbug has also opened up a new senior director of social media position for Juliette Premmereur, Prime Video’s former head of brand and social for EMEA.
- Mara Verzé (pictured) has joined Mattel as head of UK consumer products, with regional licensing strategy responsible for all of the toyco’s brands. Verzé previously spent more than 13 years at IMG Licensing in London, but she’s coming off a 10-month stint at Authentic Brands Group, where she oversaw brands including Nine West and Forever 21 and managed relationships with licensing partners in categories such as toys, apparel and luggage.
