- Simon Super Rabbit‘s distribution partner ZDF Studios has now also acquired merch rights to the preschool IP in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in an expanded deal with France’s GO-N Productions. ZDF’s regional licensing program for the 260-episode 2D-animated series will initially focus on toys, activity books and puzzles.
- Encantos Media Studios has signed a global licensing deal with Florida-based toyco Teddy Mountain, which will manufacture and distribute a new range of stuffed toys and DIY plush kits based on the Canticos brand. A first wave of products built around the three main chickies Ricky, Kiki and Nicky will be on shelves in specialty retail channels worldwide next year.
- Netflix is expanding its partnership with LA-based interactive arcade company Immersive Gamebox to develop a new multiplayer experience for live-action game show Floor is Lava. The game will roll out in more than 30 Gamebox locations in the US, the UK and Europe throughout 2025, challenging groups of up to six players to work together and complete increasingly difficult challenges that put their reflexes and problem-solving skills to the test.
