  • SAWA Rights Management has picked up the exclusive rights to distribute Your Family Entertainment’s FAST channels Fix&Foxi TV and RiC.today to telecom operators across the MENA region. Series featured on these platforms include The Fairly OddParents, Donkey Kong Country, George Shrinks, Miss Spider‘s Sunny Patch Friends and Rupert

 

  • Warner Bros. Discovery’s Thundercats and Powerpuff Girls franchises are crossing over in a new comic book series published by Dynamite Entertainment. Issue #0—a Free Comic Book Day title (pictured)—will roll out on May 3, 2025, with characters from the two IPs teaming up to defeat the evil pairing of Mumm-Ra and Mojo Jojo. 

 

  • Cloudco Entertainment has inked a new licensing deal with Australian toyco Hunter Products to revive its ’80s horrific foam ball toy line Madballs for a new generation. Hunter will roll out a core range of Madballs products to 2,800 Walmart stores across the US next February, ahead of launching its international accounts next spring. The line will feature a mix of brand-new and classic characters, including Skull Face, Horn Head and Slobulus. 

 

  • Peanuts Worldwide has partnered with California-based newspaper The Press Democrat to produce a new podcast called You Don’t Know Peanuts. The first episode dropped yesterday and features untold stories, trivia and guest interviewees describing how Charles Schulz’ iconic 74-year-old comic strip and characters grew into a global franchise.
