- Mattel and Cloudco have teamed up to create a new crossover toy line for flagship brands Barbie and the Care Bears. Mattel will roll out a first wave of Barbie Cutie Reveal Care Bears dolls to retailers worldwide later this month, featuring Barbie and Chelsea dressed up in costumes inspired by Share Bear, Cheer Bear and Grumpy Bear. Each doll also comes packaged with a range of blind-box accessories including shoes, skirts, headbands and a miniature Care Bear friend.
- Sesame Workshop and The Pinkfong Company have come together to celebrate the holidays with the launch of a YouTube music video starring Baby Shark and the cast of Sesame Street. The collab track is an orchestral rendition of Pinkfong’s infamous “Baby Shark” song, and the video sees Baby Shark playing tag with Elmo, Cookie Monster and Abby Cadaby in a winter wonderland. Textiles manufacturer Mad Engine will support the partnership later this month with a print-on-demand apparel and accessories collection.
- Cheeky Little Media has inked a new deal to launch Vegesaurs Immersive in Sydney, Australia’s Luna Park on January 11, 2025. Featuring 39 projectors, this 45-minute interactive adventure with Ginger, Minty, Wasabi and Split will take kids through spooky forests and snowy mountains to track down a new Vegesaur.
- Digitoonz Media & Entertainment has partnered with Citrus Ink Studios to launch a new Indian VFX house called DGX that will cater to international clients spanning kids content, game design and interactive experiences. Digitoonz is managing the studio’s production pipeline, while Citrus focuses on strategic management and creative direction.
