The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has announced the shortlist for its third-annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards, which recognizes creativity and innovation in kids entertainment.

Most of the winners will be unveiled at a gala event in LA on March 15—however, this year’s Lifetime Achievement honoree and winners in the juried Individual Achievement in Animation categories are to be announced a little earlier in 2025.

Among the major streamers, Apple TV+ and Disney+ tied for the most nods this year at eight apiece, followed by Netflix and Nickelodeon with five and Max with four.
