The Writers Guild of America has released its nominations list for this year’s WGAs, after delaying the announcement by a week due to the ongoing LA wildfires.

The Guild’s annual award ceremony recognizing the best writing across film, TV and radio is scheduled to take place on February 15 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Five kids projects are shortlisted in the dedicated Children’s Episodic, Long Form and Specials category. Disney+ got two nods—one for coming-of-age pic Out Of My Mind, based on a same-name novel about a middle-grader with cerebral palsy and a photographic memory; and the other for an episode of live-action series Percy Jackson and the Olympians (pictured) called “A God Buys Us Cheeseburgers” that introduces a plotline featuring Ares, the god of war.

Also in the running are Apple TV+ series Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock for the episode “I’m Pogey,” in which Wembley and Pogey meet a transformative creature called The Great Glitterini; the first episode of The Spiderwick Chronicles on Roku Channel; and the Sesame Street episode “The Sign Language ABCs” on HBO/Max.

The WGAs has an Animation category, but older-skewing toons like The Simpsons and Bob’s Burgers dominated its shortlist this year. The film categories were also more adult-flavored, with the exception of Universal’s family-friendly musical Wicked, which picked up a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.

The full list of nominations is available on the WGA website.
