- BBC Studios has joined forces with Nex to create a new motion-controlled Bluey video game for the developer’s Nex Playground gaming console. The as-yet-untitled game will roll out digitally on the Nex platform in October and features several mini-games inspired by episodes of the series, including Keepy Uppy, Musical Statues and Asparagus.
- Rainbow SpA has recruited game developer Mapshot to develop the first Roblox game based on its tentpole animated franchise for tweens Winx Club. The new Winx Club: Magix experience launches on September 15 and allows players to create their own fairy avatars, embark on quests at Alfea College with friends and master elemental powers to tackle the game’s dungeons.Mapshot will continue to support the game post-launch with seasonal events and challenges.
- Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender is joining Scopely’s online multiplayer party game Stumble Guys in a new month-long collab. The branded crossover launches today and includes six playable characters to collect and an additional map that gives players the ability to bend the elements of water, earth, fire or air until they remain the last bender standing.
- Animotion Media Group has struck a deal to air its flagship preschool series Tina & Tony and BabyRiki on Indian streaming platform YoBoHo New Media. In addition to these new series, the streamer’s kids content catalogue also includes HooplaKidz, Annie & Ben and KidsCamp.
- Viaplay Content Distribution has added FLX Production’s live-action adventure series LasseMaja’s Detective Agency and Bert to its distribution catalogue. Both shows are adapted from Swedish children’s book series of the same name and aired on SVT.
