- Thomas Schumacher, chief creative officer of Disney Theatrical, is set to leave Disney after nearly 40 years at the company. Throughout his decades at Disney, he helped build the company’s stage business and oversaw animated films, such as Tarzan and Lilo & Stitch. He is responsible for bringing The Lion King (pictured), Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin to the stage, growing Disney on Ice and developing a program so schools can stage Disney musicals.
Uttam Pal Singh
- The head of Warner Brothers Discovery India’s kids network Uttam Pal Singh is also leaving his role. He’s been with WBD for eight and a half years, leading its portfolio of kids channels, Cartoon Network, POGO, Discovery Kids and CN Rewind. During that time, he shepherded series tailored for Indian children, including Little Singham, Fukrey Boyzzz and Jay Jagannath.
