  • STEM-focused YouTuber Mark Rober’s company CrunchLabs has promoted head of product and commercialization Rachele Harmuth (pictured) to chief product officer, and will be expanding the brand into toys and education. Harmuth, who’s been with CrunchLabs for a year, is tasked with growing the company beyond its educational/scientific kits subscription business. Before CrunchLabs, she worked at Ravensburger (head of ThinkFun) and Fat Brain Toys (VP of sales). Harmuth is taking on this role as new products from Moose Toys, which has a global multi-year licensing agreement with CrunchLabs, are set to roll out in Q4 2026. There’s also a Rober-led kids & family competition series for Netflix due out next year.

  • BBC Studios Brands and Licensing has upped Suzy Raia from SVP to EVP of global consumer products. The promotion is, in part, to recognize the “pivotal” role she has played in building Bluey into a global success, according to a release. In the EVP role, Raia will continue to lead BBC Studios’ global CP business, overseeing brand partnerships and managing retail development and product innovation. She handles CP for all of BBC Studios’ brands, including Doctor Who and BBC Earth.

  • Kids media maven David Kleeman is shifting to part-time status as SVP of global trends at games studio Dubit in order to offer consulting/advisory services to the industry at large under his shingle Playvangelist. He can host talks and provide insights on kids, market research and trends gleaned from more than 35 years in the business. Earlier in his career, Kleeman worked at PBS and the American Center for Children and Media.

  • Netflix chief product officer Eunice Kim is leaving the streamer after more than four years. CTO Elizabeth Stone will take over her duties until a permanent replacement is found. A Google and PepsiCo alum, Kim played a key role in updating Netflix’s look and user interface, most recently launching a new TV experience in May.
