- Following their pitch at Cartoon Forum earlier this week, Pangur Animation and Tres Tercios have locked down several presales for its stop-motion preschool series Sissi & Caesar (26 x seven minutes, pictured), about a pair of rainbow penguins protecting the colors of nature. On board are Spanish pubcasters RTVE and À Punt, and Chile’s CNTV and TVN.
- Warner Bros. Discovery has inked a multi-year deal with the Toho-Towa Group to distribute its film slate in Japan next year. Some of the studio’s upcoming films include The Cat in the Hat, Supergirl and Godzilla x Kong: Supernova.
- Paris Hilton’s 11:11 Media banner and HappyNest Entertainment have tapped Playmates Toys as a key licensing partner for their upcoming CG-animated series Paris & Pups. The multi-year deal will see Playmates launch a range of dolls, playsets and plush inspired by the series next fall.
- Hasbro has teamed up with the NFL to manufacture and distribute new editions of Guess Who? and Monopoly Deal to retailers next month. The games will feature players from all 32 of the sports org’s teams, including Travis Kelce, Jalen Hurts and Christian McCaffrey.
- Australia’s Tiny Souls Media has appointed WildBrain as the global distributor for its 2D-animated preschool series Zip and the Tiny Sprouts (52 x seven minutes). WildBrain will showcase it to buyers next month at MIPJunior and MIPCOM.
- Paris-based distributor Midolala has acquired exclusive VOD rights to CG-animated comedy series Team Nuggets (52 x seven minutes) from distributor Serious Kids. The show has already been picked up by RTVE (Spain), NRK (Norway), SVT (Sweden) and ZDF (Germany).
