- Pocket.watch has teamed up with Zigazoo to launch a new set of channels on its social media platform for kids. They include a core pocket.watch channel that features a mix of content from its top properties, and standalone creator channels for Toys and Colors (79.4 million subscribers on YouTube, pictured) and Love, Diana (11.2 million subscribers). Pocket.watch’s creators will also issue video challenges for users to complete on the platform.
- Canada’s TVOKids has commissioned Little Engine Moving Pictures to produce a new mixed-media preschool series called The Hare of High Park (26 x 11 minutes). It’s set to come out Q2 2026 and stars a CG-animated hare who lives in Toronto’s High Park and works together with friends to return lost items to their owners.
- Following its second-season finale yesterday, Toho, MBS and Shueisha have renewed sci-fi adventure anime series Dandadan for a third season. Japanese studio Science SARU will stay on to produce the new episodes, with season one’s Fūga Yamashiro and Abel Góngora returning as directors. MBS and TBS air the series in Japan, while Netflix, Crunchyroll and Hulu share the worldwide streaming rights.
- WildBrain CPLG has secured several new licensing partners for Strawberry Shortcake and Teletubbies that will begin rolling out products next year. Joining Strawberry Shortcake’ program are Magic Star (music streaming), Crocs (footwear) and Scentbird (fragrances), while CASETiFY (phone accessories) and MISSHA (cosmetics) have gotten behind Teletubbies.
- UK-based Craft Buddy has inked a licensing deal with Hasbro to manufacture and distribute arts & crafts products based on Transformers, My Little Pony and Peppa Pig. The range of gifts, wearables, DIY kits and collectibles for kids ages four and up was showcased to buyers at the LA Fall Preview event in El Segundo last week and will launch next spring.
- And speaking of Hasbro, Wyncor has partnered with the toyco to develop a co-branded range of Kwaaks collectibles. These plush ducks will sport new looks and accessories inspired by Transformers, Peppa Pig and My Little Pony when they roll out to retailers worldwide early next year.
