BBC Studios is bringing Bluey to London next week to forge more partnerships and cement the IP as a lifestyle franchise at Brand Licensing Europe. And in the lead-up to the trade show, several new deals with licensees have been brokered to bolster Bluey’s booming consumer products program around the world. Here are the latest highlights:

More Mouse House: After BBC Studios set August 6, 2027 as the premiere date for Bluey’s first feature film, Disney acquired global theatrical rights and will stream the movie on Disney+ after its run in cinemas is over.

Cooking up a storm: As part of its ongoing “Let’s Play Chef” theme for 2025, BBC Studios will launch a Bluey & Bingo’s Christmas Cookbook with Penguin Random House next month to get kids making holiday recipes inspired by the series. Meanwhile, Chefclub will launch an exclusive kids cooking range next year, bundled together with 16 recipe videos to teach them how to use the required utensils and instruments properly.

Deals on aisle four: A wave of licensed food & beverage SKUs are set to roll out at grocery chains across the EMEA next year, including Danone (yogurt), Hero Group (sweet corn puffs), Bonne Juomat Oy (smoothies and drinks) and Pumpkin Organics (healthy snacks).

Turkey expansion: BBC Studios has appointed Spacetoon International to oversee the brand’s licensing business in Turkey. Neco Toys distributes Moose Toys’ Bluey products in the market, and Isbank Cultural Publications is overseeing a regional publishing launch next year with Penguin Random House.

Playful partners: Mookie Toys (outdoor play) and Malte Haaning (hama beads) round out the brand’s new EMEA toy partners, while Skillmatics (game and activity kits) is the latest licensee to join the North American CP program.

EVP’s remarks: “Bluey’s ability to resonate across generations is what makes it so special,” says Suzy Raia, EVP od global consumer products at BBC Studios. “As we expand into new categories and continue to deepen the brand’s presence in multiple markets, we’re enabling fans of the series to engage with Bluey in ways that go well beyond the screen, while nurturing deep roots for a globally beloved brand.”
