  • Australia’s Moose Toys has promoted global president Ronnie Frankowski (pictured right) to CEO. He replaces co-owner Paul Solomon (pictured left) as he transitions into an executive chairman position. The toyco is also upgrading the roles of three senior execs to support its next phase of growth. US GM Steve Arkveld will now serve as chief commercial officer; COO Ben Dart is taking on an expanded chief operations and financial officer portfolio; and CFO Daniel Henquin is shifting to chief risk, legal and compliance officer.
  • Tatiana Rodriguez has stepped into a VP of content strategy role at TelevisaUnivision’s Spanish-language streamer ViX (at a time when the service is attracting more eyeballs). Rodriguez previously spent more than two decades at Paramount and played a crucial role in the growth of Nickelodeon Latin America—starting out as a VP of programming and creative strategy, and later moving up to SVP and brand head of kids and families.
  • Following an internal search, Irish pubcaster RTÉ has named Gráinne McAleer as its new acquisitions editor. Reporting to director of acquisitions and co-pros Dermot Horan, she’ll oversee negotiations with Hollywood studios and global distributors to bulk up the media outlet’s linear/streaming library, including its kids programming offering. McAleer has been with RTÉ for more than 20 years, most recently serving as a commissioning editor for documentaries and features.
  • Mediawan’s recently appointed distribution boss Sally Habbershaw is already building her team, bringing in two executives to oversee sales in key markets. Ex-Boat Rocker content sales SVP Dan Selig has joined as SVP of distribution for the Americas, and Zodiak Rights alum Glen Hansen will take up the same position in the APAC market. Premium content partnerships, format sales and regional co-pros will be among their strategic priorities.
  • Superights has recruited Hye Jin Moon as its new head of sales and acquisitions. She joins from Paris-based Dandelooo, where she’s been handling international sales since January 2024. Moon’s resumé also includes a marketing stint at French webtoon platform Delitoon and two years working as a director for KOCCA Europe. Superights has been slowly beefing up its team this year in the wake of adding the Kids First catalogue to its portfolio.
