- Bluey creator Joe Brumm has penned a new original story for the upcoming video game Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen (pictured) aimed at players aged seven and up. Due to launch on the App Store in December with a broader rollout in 2026, the game is a partnership between Fruit Ninja developer Halfbrick Studios, BBC Studios and Ludo Studio.
- Netflix has scooped up 2D-animated series Koati to launch in select territories starting next month (November 13). Actor Sofía Vergara is an EP on this toon, which serves as a sequel to her 2021 feature of the same name about a gang of animal besties from the Latin American rainforest. Upstairs Miami and LatinWE produce the series, which will be available in both English and Spanish.
- Coolabi Group is expanding its Warrior Cats franchise with a new mobile game. The company has tapped indie developer/publisher Red Games Co. to create the game, slated for a 2027 global launch (excluding China) with initial plans to localize in 12 languages. Warrior Cats originated in 2003 as a bestselling book series and has since been adapted into a popular Roblox game.
- Paris-based Indie Sales has picked up sales rights to CG-animated/stop-motion feature Brave Cat. Produced by Chile’s Oscar-winning Punkrobot, the film follows a young forest cat who sets out to find her mom who was kidnapped by human-serving dogs. Indie Sales will introduce the film to buyers at next month’s American Film Market (November 11 to 16).
