  • In a new multi-year deal with Disney, learning app Lingokids will regularly add educational games to its platform featuring iconic Mouse House brands. The partnership kicked off today with a series of new interactive activities based on three popular IPs—Mickey & Friends, Frozen and Moana (pictured). Lingokids says it will also roll out integrations from Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars over the next few years. Adding more third-party brands has been an investment priority for Lingokids, which raised US$120 million in funding this fall.

  • With crochet kits emerging as a lucrative L&M category, it was only a matter of time before KPop Demon Hunters surfaced there. North Carolina’s The Woobles will launch a kid-friendly crochet set inspired by Derpy the tiger and Sussie the magpie, who appear in the animated film as Jinu’s pets. The product is available now for preorder and due out at retail in February.

  • Disney is also making digital marketing moves to build hype for its big Thanksgiving release, Zootopia 2 (November 26). The studio has teamed up with Snapchat for seven branded AR lenses that will be available the week of the film’s release. US-based Snapchatters will also receive a sponsored Snap in their inboxes from Zootopia characters. And tying in with AR tech, real-world activations are set to roll out at LA locations like The Grove and The Americana.
