As part of a day-long focus on the creator economy, Jordan Matter—a kids and family YouTube star with more than 33 million subscribers—will deliver a keynote presentation at Kidscreen Summit 2026.

Matter’s brand of down-to-earth family storytelling and comedy has helped him build a string of successes, including cracking Nielsen’s top-10 streaming originals list last year and launching a now-sold-out product at Sephora with his daughter, Salish (also a YouTuber). He currently reaches roughly 275 million monthly viewers.

In his keynote entitled “Making It Matter: Building trust & scale in the creator economy by being real,” Matter will share how he built his successful YouTube brand by developing both trust with parents and engagement with kids.

This presentation will launch Kidscreen Summit’s first-ever full day of panels and other sessions focused on the creator economy, which is reshaping kids content and becoming a key priority for advertisers and platforms.

Other planned highlights include a session featuring popular YouTuber Mark Rober‘s team and several content collaborators talking about how they’ve expanded Rober’s brand of science and wonder from YouTube to other platforms, as well as a panel discussion in which kids studios that have forged some of the earliest collabs with YouTube creators reflect on what’s changed and how these partnerships are evolving next.

Also scheduled is an in-depth session on building a successful YouTube channel business, covering everything from revenue diversification to content strategy, plus a drop-in opportunity to get practical advice from YouTube team members and a mixer with YouTube Kids creators to facilitate new partnerships and ideas.

Kidscreen Summit 2026 runs from February 22 to 25 in San Diego. Registration is open now, and attendees can save US$300 on passes with an Early-Bird rate that’s on until November 22. More information is available on the Kidscreen Summit website
