  • Natalie Adams (née Llewellyn) has joined Triggerfish (Supa Team 4, pictured above) as SVP of business development to grow its recently opened UK studio. Adams spent the last seven years at Jellyfish Pictures, most recently as managing director of originals, but that stint ended when Jellyfish shut down earlier this year. In the aftermath, she worked to set up Jellyfish’s projects elsewhere, including Stan & Gran with Tiger Aspect Kids & Family and Banijay Kids & Family. Adams has quietly been working at Triggerfish as a consultant since the South African studio opened its UK studio in the fall. She’s charged with securing partnerships and building up the company’s European presence.

  • Jen Harned, president of Random House’s graphic novel/comic book publisher BOOM! Studios, is leaving the company at the end of January. BOOM! sells licensed titles for IPs including Power Rangers and TMNT, specializing in tweens/teens and YA readers. Random House bought the company in September 2024, and Harned played a key role in laying the groundwork for the acquisition.

  • Canada’s Youth Media Alliance has selected Lisa Pryce, a student in Toronto Metropolitan University’s RTA Media Production program, as the recipient of its Andra Sheffer Scholarship, an annual award that recognizes a student building a career in kids media. Pryce will receive passes to Kidscreen Summit and the Banff World Media Festival in 2026, as well as a travel grant valued at roughly US$3,000 (CAD$4,000). A Jamaican-Canadian, Pryce is developing a series for kids about normalizing differences called Rolling Through, which follows a preteen in a motorized wheelchair as they navigate everyday life.
