- Serious Kids has picked up worldwide distribution rights to Danish studio Skjaldborn’s animated series Høj (pictured, pronounced ‘hoy’). Aimed at kids ages six to nine, this 52 x 11-minute series for DR is about an unusually tall dwarf who sets out on a quest to master his shapeshifting abilities and defeat a wicked giant. DR, SVT and YLE have already aired the series, which Skjaldborn delivered earlier this year, and Manchester-based Flix is working on an English dub. Julie Lind-Holm Hansen, editor of DR’s kids channel Ramasjang, praised Høj‘s serialized storytelling in a release, noting that DR is investing in more of this type of storytelling.
- Sinking Ship Entertainment’s head of distribution Kate Sanagan has signed several new broadcast deals for a handful of series in the company’s sales catalogue. ABC Australia picked up Yowza Animation!/Tricycle Films’ animated comedy Superbuns for a Q1 2026 debut (ABC Kids and iview), along with Sinking Ship’s own live-action media-literacy series Media Stamped. RTL Netherlands acquired BBC Studios’ tween/teen coming-of-age series Phoenix Rise, and Prime Video Germany picked up Sinking Ship’s hybrid series Dino Dex. And in Canada, streamer CBC Gem has licensed Dino Dana seasons one and two and Odd Squad spinoff Odd Squad: Mobile Unit.
- Banjay Kids & Family is working with UK bird conservation charity the Royal Society for the Protection to feature Stan & Gran in seven editions of the org’s kids magazine. RSPB has 1.2 million members and publishes Wild Times with bird facts, activities and crafts for members who are under age eight.
- Eastern European distributor Media Squad will sell Zeptolab animated series Om Nom Stories to digital platforms in countries such as Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. The 2D-animated series about the comical mishaps of a little green monster spans 25 seasons (250 x 3.5 minutes) and has run on Disney+ (Europe) and Netflix (globally).
