Cloudco Entertainment to open its first-ever Care Bears play area 

The company has teamed up with Indiana-based real estate firm Simon to design a new Care-A-Lot themed attraction for toddlers and young kids that will open at the Barton Creek Square shopping mall in Austin, Texas next month. The area features branded elements including rainbow slides, character statues, Starbuddies obstacles and heart domes. And parents can take a breather in a seating lounge with mobile device charging stations while their kids play. 

Liscianigiochi renews its UK toy distribution deal with AB Gee

Achieving double-digit growth in the region this year, the Italian toyco is aiming to increase its presence in the UK market with a wider licensed product range for 2026. Liscianigiochi picked up licenses for Care Bears and Hello Kitty earlier this year, adding to a portfolio of branded educational toys that already features Barbie, Gabby’s Dollhouse, Marvel, Bing and Miraculous. 

Angel picks up theatrical rights to Animal Farm

The faith-based studio will mount a wide theatrical release for a CG-animated adaptation of George Orwell’s iconic 1945 novel that’s slated to premiere on May 1 next year. Co-produced by Aniventure, Cinesite and Andy Serkis’s Imaginarium Productions banner, this kid-friendly Animal Farm tags along with several barnyard animals as they escape the slaughterhouse and team up to run the farm together as equals.
