Mattel appoints its next CP and experiences leader
Former Netflix head of consumer products Natalia Premovic (pictured) has landed at Mattel as the toyco’s new chief consumer products and experiences officer. She succeeds Josh Silverman, who jumped ship to join Paramount in October.
Reporting to chairman and CEO Ynon Kreiz, Premovic will leverage her experience in building consumer products and location-based entertainment to create more value for Mattel’s IPs. At Netflix, she developed multi-billion-dollar CP programs for Stranger Things, One Piece and Squid Game, as well as spearheading the development of the streamer’s Netflix House entertainment centers in Dallas and Philadelphia. Prior to that, she worked at Disney in senior executive roles including VP of global product management and retail strategy (2018 to 2019), director of retail brand development for Lucasfilm (2017 to 2018) and director of retail brand development (2013 to 2016).
