Jamie Drew exits Paramount

The consumer products and experiences EVP announced her departure yesterday on LinkedIn after helping to build out the company’s kids franchises for more than two decades. Drew’s departure comes in the wake of her longtime colleague Pam Kaufman (former president and CEO of Paramount’s international markets, global consumer products and experiences) leaving in September.

Drew (pictured) joined Nickelodeon in 2004 as a finance and strategic planning manager, but quickly moved up the ladder to take on escalating responsibility as senior director of strategy and business development (2006 to 2010) and SVP of strategy and business development (2012 to 2019). She then made the jump to the Paramount team in 2019 and served for three years as SVP of strategic partnerships and licensing in the Americas. Over her long career at the company, Drew has spearheaded global consumer products programs and retail partnerships for Paramount kids franchises including Dora the Explorer, PAW Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and SpongeBob SquarePants.

Wow! Stuff hires its first head of licensing

The British toyco has tapped former Moose Toys head of European licensing Lucy Wynn-Jones to fill this newly created role. She will develop and execute licensing strategies to support the growth of Wow!’s brand portfolio in the UK, while also hunting for international partners to help expand the distribution of its toys in more markets. Wow! is best known for its flagship Puppetronics toy line, which has launched licensed electronic dolls inspired by Lilo & Stitch and How to Train Your Dragon.
